All You Need to Know about the Elan Lawn this Season!

Elan Luxury Lawn is famous for being the lawn of the season and we couldn’t agree more after seeing the star-studded campaign. The campaign is executed in and named after a village in Turkey, Ormana. The campaign leads us deep into the culture and traditions of the village of Ormana through the wedding festivities of Laila; a woman with a talent for telling stories. 

The festivities begin with the night of Kina Gecesi, henna night, and we see Leila in a traditional red veil styled over a vivid plum long dress layered with a range of embellishments from multihued threadwork to delicate tilla and mirror work with contrasting borders paired with a silk dupatta.

The next morning, Leila stuns in a deep carmine dress with embroideries inspired by the nomadic tribes of Thar and Cholistan paired with a swiss voile dupatta, while her house is decorated with hanging bridal dolls and other decorations passed through the women of each household.

Leila is then seen roaming with her imaginary friend Neslihan across endless landscapes outside Ormana, in her dream. Leila and Neslihan both stun in dresses inspired by ornate designs from Kashmir with contrasted silk dupattas.

On her wedding day, Leila looks like a regal Antolian bride in a deep mahogany dress with exquisite kashmiri tapestry in shades of antique gold and tobacco laid out in detailed, delicate and lightweight taankas, paired with a pure silk dupatta with a traditional 18th century paisley shawl print.

The campaign is so well-executed that each outfit from the collection, Ormana, tells its own story and looks nothing less than a piece of art. We can’t wait to style this magical collection of the season!
