Every It Accessory Trend You’ll Be Needing This Fall

The simplest way to make your whole outfit look well-planned and expensive is to throw on some essential accessories. As the fall season is upon us we are seeing some trends that will make big this winter season. Inspired by the 70s and 80s fashion trends we can’t get enough of leather jackets, slouchy jeans, and should pads that were seen everywhere this year. One more trend that we loved from 2020 was comfortable loungewear. Thanks to pandemic we can wear our sweats outside just style them some chunky hoops, watch, sneakers, and a trench coat. 

Hence accessories play a special role in finishing off your look whether it is a street casual look or a formal wedding look. Speaking of weddings as much as we love the lehenga cholis, pishwas and ghararas we are also a big fan of traditional shadi jewelry such as Kundan earrings, matha pati, and everyone’s favorite jhoomkay. The biggest add-on trend of 2020 and 2021 has to be the OG Mask and fashion divas have been able to carry it well with customized printed and artwork ones.

Here are some trends we are predicting will be big in the upcoming fall/winter season.

Oversized Totes

The carry it all bag every girl needs. A women’s bag indeed has it all including her makeup, laptop, charger, medicines, keys, and what not. Gone are the days when mini bags were the thing that could hardly carry your keys and are not even able to carry your hand sanitizer. This season we are bringing the big bags back and we are sure they are here to stay.  Make sure you’re investing in a good one as these totes will be your everyday accessory and you would want it to last season after season. Also, go for a neutral color one as you want it to go with your everyday outfits. 

Kerchiefs

Although this trend may seem like it serves no purpose but it could add a certain amount of oomph to your whole look. Wear it around your neck and elevate your basic white tee and blue jeans look. You can also wear them as a bandanna or as a belt. Kerchiefs have been trending among the fashion people in the west and east alike in summers. A silky printed one wrapped around your head or neck can make you look fashion-forward, trendy, and quirky instantly. Add a scarf to your basic look and voila you have a chic look.

Big Chunky Earrings

Taking a break from the western trends and coming to Easterns, we have been seeing a lot of big earring trends in weddings. If you’re not someone who is into heavily embellished or embroidered Shaadi joras and want to stay in your comfort zone then rely on jewelry to save your day. Take inspiration from Naimal Khawar. She was spotted in a wedding adorning a minimal and simplistic emerald green saree with a statement necklace and earrings. Similarly, you can go for a basic shalwar kameez or kurta set and pair it with statement jhumkas and embellished khussas and you will have a stylish and minimal look.

Padded Sandals

As much as we love heels and want to look contoured and tall we also know they can be quite uncomfortable when it comes to daily wear. We have a simple success formula to look taller and still stay comfortable and that is padded platforms. They are chunky, fun, and quirky, and did we say comfortable? They can easily elevate your basic look. Pair them up with basic jeans and tea or even a pantsuit, they will look good on everything. You can go for neon and bright color or muted colors as well.

Embellished Khussas

Talking about comfort and style nothing can beat the comfort of the OG khussas. If you’re someone who wants to ditch the high heels for a wedding and go for something that will let you dance the night away without worrying about tripping. Khussas go well with anything pishwas, lehenga choli, kurta set anything. We love the basic leather khussas but we also love a little bit of bling and to add a certain amount of festive touch, you can bedazzle it with beads, gota, and mirror work. Apart from the shadi, you can wear them with basic kurta and trousers and even with jeans and a tee-shirt and call it a fusion look.

Cozy Furs

Winter season is here and stepping outside with style while keeping yourself warm could be quite a task but trench coats, scarves, and gloves can be your saving grace. We also love a warm chequered shawl or a neutral cardigan. Fury accessories such as shawls or stoller have been around for a while and they are the biggest trend of the cold season. Pair up a furry cozy shawl with a turtle neck sweater, jeans, and boots. It will keep you warm and cozy and will make you look extremely stylish and chic.
